Highlight of our Berlin trip

"This is a great way to spend an evening in Berlin. You get to visit places you probably wouldn't go as a tourist and taste some great beers. We had 9 beers across 3 different bars as well as some great food. Cliff is very knowledgeable of all the beers as well as the history of beer within Berlin and how it is made. He is friendly and made us feel very welcome as well as making us laugh. This was the highlight of our trip to Berlin. Highly recommend."

"Selected this tour as the meeting point was close to my hostel. Turned out to be one of the best choices I made in Berlin. We had a small group 2 Swedes and myself. Fabien the guide did a wonderful job of explaining the beer culture in Berlin. Knowledgeable in not only beer but history as well. Having such a great time we continued into the night with great conversation and laughs. A highlight of my trip. Highly recommended! Would do again :)"

"Definitely worth the money! The group I was with had a great time with our tour guide Laura. I traveled alone to Berlin, but did not feel awkward during the tour at all. I had a great time meeting new people and trying new beer! The limited number of people on the tour makes sure you get a good experience at the different bars of Berlin."

Beer - the basis of all civilization

"Beer and Germany may almost be synonymous, but if you want to delve beyond the obvious tourist traps and flat Beck's, the Craft Beer Experience is a great way to both discover the history of beer, the history of Berlin, and get chances to discover new tastes. We were a small group made up of both beginners and experienced beer drinkers, but our guide Clifton had something for all of us, showed us some spots you wouldn't usually discover as a visitor, and we had some damn fine brews and snacks to boot. Can not recommend highly enough."

Great way to see city through beer

"Michael took us to three different spots and shared his vast knowledge on beer making, beer styles and Berlin in a very relaxed and balanced way. From bacon to lemon beer - we enjoyed all of it and would highly recommend it. We even came back to the last location the next day to have some more pizza - probably one of the best we have ever had."

Great tour to know Berlin's local beer scene

"Our guide Michael gave an interesting overview Berlin’s up-and-coming microbrewery scene through visits to three very different places. He was very knowledgeable, describing the Berlin beer landscape in an accessible way. Michael went out of his way to accommodate the non-beer drinker of our group by providing alternative products, such as local ciders and cocktails. By the end of the night, it felt like we were friends hanging out with the locals in a cool neighbourhood. We enjoyed this experience and learned a lot! Thanks again, Michael!"
